I have been searching for a couple of years now for a pumpkin butter recipe. I figured it had to be easy. Now I've found it and can share it with friends and family. It's not overly sweet and retains its pumpkin flavor. Thank you!

My daughter had made this for Thanksgiving and I decided to try it. My tweak is to make it in my small crock pot. I cooked it on low for 5 hours. Perfect!

This is a great recipe! I made it for the Child Care children here at my house, not only provides a full serving of fruit/Vegetable for snack it is wonder full to dip apples or wheat thins in. Children love it and so do I for that matter. I will also be making this to go along with my fruit and bread tray for Easter.

I made a puppkin nut bread to bring to work. I wanted to bring something to go with it. I found several recipes on this site and I sure am glad I chose this one! I did a few minor adjustments, I cut back a little on the sugar and I used 2 grated apples and a little water since I did not happen to have apple juice in the house. (nothing like planning ahead!) Any way it is/was fantastic, had every one asking for both recipes but it was the pumpkin butter that everyone commented on. It tastes better thatn the expensive ones that are in all the little specialty stores this time of year. This will be a keeper recipe. Oh, and try it in a baked apple, very good. A friend tried it in baked acorn squash, she said it was wonderful.
