Expert Advice for Preschool

I want to introduce my 2 ½ year old to the Spanish language. He speaks English well, but I would like to expose him to something different. What is the best time to start introducing a new language?  Do you have any recommendation on the best way to do it?

Jeff Winckler, Educator, Father, says:

I am huge proponent of bilingual or multilingual education. Go for it!!! Start right now!!! The best first thing to do is vocabulary building. Use both verbal and visual cues. Point to or show an object and use both the English and Spanish word for it. Picture cards are great and many developmental language learning toys include English/Spanish options.
