Expert Advice for Preschool
My daughter just turned 2, and I have noticed a BIG difference in her attitude in general. She is more aggressive and has started throwing more tantrums. Is there any advice about turning around these tantrums? Is there any kind of repercussions that are not too harsh for a 2 year old? I'm not sure what to do.

Around the age of two, tantrums are more common in many children. This is typically because children become frustrated in their inability to communicate their wants and needs...or because they don't get what they want! They are ready to talk to you but can't process or contextualize or rationalize everything around them. But that doesn't make it any easier you.
It's important to try and explain what's going on or "why" to a tantrunimg child. It's not too early to time a child out or have them sit in a spot (not too long) until they say "sorry" or make a better choice. It's also OK to take away privileges.
