The Greatest Love of All

But in your home, Valentine's Day can be about the love of your family.
Start some family Valentine's Day traditions this year.
"The old-fashioned things, the things that don't cost a dime and come straight from the heart, are the things that make memories," says Michele Borba, Ed.D. "Anything you do that makes children feel loved and connected and gives them a sense of belonging will help bring a family together."
- Hang one heart-shaped magnet for each family member on the refrigerator and leave love notes for each other under them.
- Make valentines for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
- Conspire with your children to do something nice for your spouse on Valentine's Day. Whether it's planning a special meal or preparing a bubble bath, children will love making a secret plan.
- End the day with a special candlelit meal followed by a delicious Valentine's Day chocolate dessert.
